Marcus and Alice will be bringing their laid back and intimate duo set to Blues @ Barleylands on their Young Bands Day with Sam Kelly, more details to follow!
Luckily the swearing, raunchy songs and Alice accidentally wearing her ouija board t-shirt to soundcheck didn’t stop the fabulous St Lawrence’s organisers from booking them for a second gig in their fabulous and historic church venue!
Marcus and Alice are looking forward to bringing a whole new collection of original material and covers for you to enjoy in a stripped back, semi-acoustic smorgasbord of blues, soul, country and funk.

From the Organisers:
”Here we go again with two of the hottest bands on the circuit.
Crossfire are a band who’s reputation is growing gig on gig and we are pleased to get them on board... Those of you who were at the first gig, will remember Marcus Praestgaard-Stevens and Alice Armstrong as Crossfire Lite, but now they’re back with a rhythm section. As a full band, these guys are superb and we are so pleased to have them on the bill.
Adding to the bill are The Mighty Catfish, who have established themselves as one of the premier Blues/Rock bands in the UK. With a new album in the making, we are assured of a wonderfully diverse set, with something old, something new, something borrowed and of course, something Blues.
Usual rules apply and full details will be circulated nearer the time, but this is a private invite only gig, so if you want to come and understand the concept, please message me. There will be a £15 contribution per person on the day, which will be collected to cover the cost of the event. we are non-profit making and any surplus money goes back into the club to fund other events. “
Tickets are by invitation only, for more information go to the Contact page.
